BEDA all the time

So one of my favorite authors, Maureen Johnson, is doing a blog every day in april (BEDA) since she just finished a book (Scarlett Fever) and another one (Suite Scarlett) is due in paperback at the beginning of May. Other people are joining in and I think that I will do the same. So I’ll either post here or at my book blog over here. I think that posting between the two will be sufficient and I will be churning out a blog every day. It’s just that I might not have anything to say here but I have a couple of books to talk about and will have more throughout the month.
It is an interesting idea. I’m not a strong blogger and, of course, no one really reads this so it doesn’t matter. But I would like to try because I used to write all the time and now I very rarely write. One of my favorite bloggers, Cleolinda, blogs every day and has for six months and that is generally amazing.
So I have no idea what I’ll be saying but it might be something unexpected. We’ll see.

Here is the Manifesto:

I commit to this idea and am determined to create something EVERY DAY in April, including weekends. Every day, I will find something to say. I embrace the reality that there is always something to talk about, if you are willing to take the time to look for it.

I Andrea promise to blog every day in April.

ETA: I'll tag everything BEDA.

My (boring) weekend

This weekend we watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno. It was pretty good and funny too. BT said a couple of times that he thought that it was a romantic comedy in disguise and that was what it kinda was like. I don't think Seth Rogan is that good looking but he is sort of an average guy so it makes it more believable that she wouldn't know she loved him because they were both a little shallow. The most hilarious thing was their scene in the porn. I'm guessing it would be just that uncomfortable in real life.
Also this weekend I bought the Target Twilight disc set but I haven't watched it yet. I did watch the making of documentary though. I also got Adventures in Babysitting and Underworld: Evolution. B went to sleep at my mom's on Sat. even though I probably shouldn't have let him go. He wasn't feeling good and stayed home with me on Friday. He was a terror when he got up from his nap this afternoon but finally I gave him a bath and he calmed down. Tomorrow is the dentist and the ENT so he will not be happy at all.

That's about it. I'm heading to bed. I have a feeling it will be a long week.

"Namaste" (Lost thoughts)

I will say Sawyer has shaped up nicely into being the new leader. It was beyond awkward with Jack and Kate at the North Point (I think he said) but Hurley was awesome as ever. I'm glad Sawyer got them together and onto the Dharma compound but for a second I thought Juliet had set Kate up when her name wasn't on the list. After all, both of the guys Juliet has loved have loved Kate too. But all was well when Juliet popped up with a new list, although the tension between the two was palpable. Later, after Sawyer chewed out Jack, Kate was pacing outside of her house and I bet that she is not happy about the Sawyer/Juliet situation since she probably came back for him. I like Juliet and Sawyer together though and I hope that doesn't get messed up. (It will but I am hoping.) I was a little annoyed at Sawyer for talking to Jack that way even if it rung a little true, but Jack seemed to take it in stride. Now that he is back, maybe he feels like he completed his mission.
I really don't have much to say how Sun because that storyline wasn't as interesting to me. Christian Shepherd is a enigmatic character for sure so I am wondering how he will get Sun to 1977 or does she have to wait till they get back to 2007? I guess we will find out.
But Sayid! I am happy to see him and I can't wait to see how that plays out. He seemed startled when Jin turned around and put up his gun after Radzinsky came onto the scene, but since he is Sayid, he took it all in stride. The man knows how to hold his tongue. And how annoying is Radzinsky? He is putting a big damper on the castaways' plans. Sayid didn't get say much in this episode but his face when Lil'Ben told him his name was great. Do you think Sayid will have it in for Lil'Ben? I'm betting yes.

"LaFleur"(Lost thoughts)

I came in late but luckily I was taping so I had to rewind a bit to catch up and then I hit the "live" show about half way through. If you haven't seen the show then what follows makes no sense what so ever.
I wasn't really surprised to find out that the time-jumping losties were now working for the Dharma Initiative. I was surprised to see Juliet as a mechanic cause when Amy was in trouble with the baby I was like "Where is Juliet? She is a freaking ob" and then there she was. I think I might be shipping Juliet and Sawyer a little, but I'm afraid that it's not going to last since Kate has shown up and Sawyer was looking at her like whoa. Is it Juliet's destiny to love someone who belongs to other? First she was having an affair with a married man and then Jack who loved Kate and now Sawyer who, no matter what he says, still loves Kate on some level. But I prefer Jack and Kate really. So now it's blond couple vs. brunette couple, who will win?
I did love at the end where Sawyer is looking at all of them and Kate steps out from behind Hurley and Jack looks at her and then back at Sawyer like he is not sure. I wonder what that will mean.
So I'm not sure if my math is holding up or not since it is 1977 and Ben should be there, but they haven't shown him yet. He has to be there cause they really is no way he isn't there yet.
Oh, and I love Richard Alpert so much, like so much. He is just awesome and it is always great when he shows up.
